The SaunaLife ERGO-Series Elegance 8 outdoor sauna barrel was designed and engineered by sauna enthusiasts to be the most spacious, comfortable, durable, and attractive backyard sauna available.   

Ergonomics – Barrel Sauna Comfort  

Comfort is extremely important when investing in an outdoor sauna barrel. Smaller barrels use fewer materials, so they can be less expensive; however, there is a big tradeoff in comfort, with lower door height, less headroom, and lower-quality benches. Small barrels also have a tighter arc that compromises bather posture, prevents standing upright, and requires one to duck upon entry and exit.

The SaunaLife Model EE8G is an impressive 7’7” in diameter and 6’7” in length so you can stand comfortably. Due to the large diameter, its benches can be ergonomically contoured and formfitting. The generous barrel arc can support a generous arched backrest for true lumbar support and a natural seating position. Silky-smooth seating is made from beautiful Thermo-Aspen that is 50% thicker than in lesser saunas. This knot-free wood feels comfortable against your skin and has ideal thermal properties for a sauna so it will never be too hot against your skin.

An 8mm tempered glass front wall drenches the sauna with natural light and further accentuates the incredible spaciousness of the interior.  The barrel exterior is made from full-length spruce staves that are thermally enhanced for greater strength, dimensional stability, and weather resistance. Secure and level footing is assured with the addition of a fitted floor.
